ICE CREAM AND BOOK READING

Washington, DC. (October 18, 2009) -- An ice cream party and book reading was held for kids celebrating local author Judith Viorst newly released 30th anniversary edition of her book "Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day." The party was held at the Washington Home & Community Hospice where the proceeds went to support the non-profit organizations long-term and end-of-life hospice care to residents in Washington, DC, Maryland and Virginia for over 120 years regardless of ability to pay.
