DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA (August 4, 2011) -- World famous American music icon Stevie Wonder visits the construction site of the Martin Luther King Jr., Memorial in the heart of Washington, DC. Located across from the Jefferson Memorial and Tidal Basin, it commemorates the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and honor his global contributions to world peace through non-violent social change. The new memorial looks to perform an official dedication on Sunday, August 28, 2011, which is the 48th anniversary of the March on Washington and Dr. King’s historic I Have A Dream speech.
